Synopsis

Notes + Spoilers

• In the beginning of the chapter where Samus is fighting Decade, all of Decade's Kamen Ride transformations are those Kamen Rider seasons which has Toshiki Inoue as a main writer.
• Despite being a tribute to Kamen Rider Kuuga, the titular Rider himself does not appear on this chapter, but the "Chou Henshin!" chant is used whenever Samus trans-fuses herself to a Kamen Rider, which is in fact Kuuga's transformation chant. Also, the enemies who protect Ridley are all Gurongi.
• Samus merging her body (particularly her Power Suit's ability perimeters) to Mitsuzane and her soul at Takatora is an obvious homage to Samus' climatic battle against Mother Brain in Super Metroid, where the infant Metroid transferred its energy on an incapacitated Samus before meeting its end at the hands of Mother Brain.
• The music that plays when the Trans-Fused Ryugen and Zangetsu Shin fight Ridley with Samus' abilities is "Point of No Return" by Mahiro Takasugi, who portrays Mitsuzane Kureshima in Gaim's TV series proper.
